Organoleptic characteristics

Colour: straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Perfume: the wine expresses an intense and elegant minerality which enhances its flavour, a typical characteristic of the Verdicchio grape. Rotating the glass releases intense floral notes, including those of yellow and white flowers, in particular hawthorn.
Taste: The wine opens softly, without residual sugar, and is immediately characterized by its acidity, which is perfectly counterbalanced by the flavour.

The aromas remain in the long aftertaste, with hints of minerals and flowers, ending with a slightly bitter note.

It is recommended to serve Gold at a temperature of 8-10 degrees.

Pairings:

First courses based on fish and vegetables: risotto alla pescatora, pasta with clams and courgettes, risotto with prawns and asparagus; fettuccine with truffle and pasta with Genoese pesto, fried courgettes, prawn tempura, fried mozzarella, grilled fish, au gratin or baked in foil. It also goes well with stewed red mullet, roast beef and chicken salads.
